You Cannot Claim to be Christian AND Support Abortion.

This title is similar to one I read somewhere on the Web, it was good, but there is more to it. Christians must be consistence in every part of our life’s.

Christians & Abortion

Child Praying

Abortion is murder, the Bible is clear on the subject, as I heard and wrote recently the difference between the born and the unborn is SLED.

Size – We cannot justify murder do to size, to we kill short people tall people when do they change the rules for children those who have been born.

Level of Development – This too does not justify murder, do we start to pick on those with birth defects after their born, would we kill them?

Environment – If this was justification should we murder those because of were they live, the poor or tribes in the middle nowhere, your environment does not give anyone the right to kill you

Dependency –   If we used this as justification for murder, the poor, old weak and sick could qualify.

Abortion is Murder, and if you vote for and support a a politician you support abortion and murder.

Christians and Sexuality

As Christians we cannot “be tolerant” of homosexuality, transgender or any other self proclaimed sexuality. We are not supposed to hate those who sin, if we are honest we are sinners and far from perfect, it is only the Grace of God that we are saved through faith that we can we forgiven, but we are not without sin.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

These and other verses are taken from the https://www.openbible.info

Again we cannot support candidates , parties or politicians that support these things and live a close honest relationship with God

  Christ Like, not Worldly morals

We can be fooled if we try to be moral especially when those morals are based on mans terms, we are told to be Christ like

2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

We cannot live one way at work, one way at home and another at Church, as Christians everywhere and everything should be based on Gods Word.

Closing

Being a Christian is not easy, the world hates us, no matter how many times we say we don’t hate the sinner and just the sin the world will not hear that, they will call us bigots, intolerant, remember they hated Christ before they hated us.

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

We are not perfect, we make mistakes, the difference is we admit them and ask for forgiveness, if we remember that and communicate that, they will still hates us, but our goal should be to be truthful, consistent in every aspect of our lifes.

Start your day in Gods Word

Proverbs 2:1-9

1 My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

2 So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

3 Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

4 If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

5 Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Such a treasure wisdom is, and it is even laid out step by step how we can receive it, yet so many are living in poverty. As Gods children he wants us to have wisdom, and we need it more and more and the church age ends.

Ecclesiastes 10:10

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct.

As we study, grow in God’s Word and fellowship we are putting an edge on our Christian iron which we will need more and more as time goes on and Christ return grows nearer. Staying active as Christians and Patriots requires prayer and growth. Sharpen the blunt iron, make it a little easier.

Heavenly Father help us remember your Word each day, be with us as we fellowship whenever and wherever we gather. Lord help us to not only keep and edge on the Spirit but to remember to put on the entire armor of God as we face the challenges of each day.

Proverbs 1:23-33(KJV)

The consequence of not seeking Wisdom

23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

We know that not listening to God has consequences, not being saved being the biggest of all. But it is clear that ignoring Gods Wisdom results is bad things, the one being that God will ignore us in our time of need if we ignore him.

Always seek wisdom, it comes in many forms and from many places and even many people. God always finds the tool to best deliver his words of truth, we just need to recognize it.

The news today shows us we must be prepared as Christians for what is to come. We have to be ministers of His Word without God’s wisdom we would not have a chance. We have seen but a small sample of the worlds desire to show and act upon its hate for Jesus and His followers here in America and there is no reason to think we will never be attack in the same manner as many other Christians are every day. This past election was more critical then we will ever know I believe that God will use Donald Trump to give us one more chance on the world stage to spread the word of God without fear, even here at home.

Heavenly Father please help us seek Your Wisdom in all we do. Let our lights so shine Lord that everyone around us knows there is something different about us. Lord be with us should the time come and persecutions increases that we proudly stand on you Word and Wisdom.

Amen

           Grace and Trials

When trials come God; gives us grace

He stills our hearts and helps us face,

the fiery trials that Satan sends;

He gives us grace the victory win.

And when our body aches with pain,

He gives us grace to praise His name,

and look beyond our weakened state

to fields of glory that await.

Praise God for trials that come our way,

for God is molding us like clay.

He gives us trials that we may see,

that more like Jesus we will be.

Believers Are Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Christ Fulfills the Law

17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Believers Are Salt and Light

Particular in these end times believers need to be actively spreading the word of God. Doing so can be active, pastoring, ministering or by example (and all 3). Many of the televised and mega churches are part of the apostate church. They do not preach God’s Word unless they can make it all positive, or marketable. In so many ways, the salt has lost it’s flavor.

We also have many undercover Christians, a question you should ask yourself is , if accused of being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?

Christ Fulfills the Law

Christ death and resurrection fulfilled prophecy and brought us into the age of Grace, it is by Grace we are saved, but as we see in the verse above, the law did not simply disappear. In many ways as we continue on we will see that the Law was further defined by Christ and I would argue made it harder. Think about sin is a sin, but it is through Christ’s Grace we can be forgiven.  Though we are saved by his grace, it must be followed by works. If you become saved and then hide what good is it.

Works are very important for us as Christians, yes we are saved by Grace alone but works which involve witnessing, living in faith and trying to be more Christ like. We will also fall short of the glory of God, works with salvation will not get you into heaven.

As we approach the end of the Church age make sure that your light shines, that your salvation shows and that you follow Christ. Man kind will always let you down, and trying to live of the world and in the Word will not work.

Matthew 5-7New King James Version (NKJV)

Blessed

As taking from https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew+5-7&version=NKJV

The Beatitudes

1 And seeing the multitudes, He went up on a mountain, and when He was seated His disciples came to Him. Then He opened His mouth and taught them, saying:

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.
Blessed are the merciful,
For they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure in heart,
For they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
For they shall be called sons of God.
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

As the Church age comes to an end we need to not only spread the word of God to all any way we can. The Beatitudes from the sermon on the Mount are sometimes called the 8 Proverbs of the new Testament.  They are important to the end of the church age because they are a guide of sorts, simple yet deep in meaning.

As false prophets, apostasy and persecution are increasing it is important to remember what we as Christians are given by God.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Watching the news, see more and more church’s fall to apostasy it is easy to be down, to feel defeated yet Christ says that we get the Kingdom of Heaven. If we stay true to Christ those these things may bring us down God’s promise easily lifts the Christian Spirt, we GET the kingdom of heaven!

Blessed are those who mourn,
For they shall be comforted.

This verse has served us over many times of sadness, and although as the Church age ends we mourn, not for what will come for God promises us great things, but for those who will not hear his word, our comfort is his promise of what will come for use.

Blessed are the meek,
For they shall inherit the earth.

In the end times time Bible tells us that men will be boastful, as Christians we should be meek, not full of pride. It will not be the proud and boastful who will inherit the earth but the meek. And we will when Christ comes and sits on his thrown for 1000 years.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
For they shall be filled.

We long as Christians for righteousness , we see churches being burned and Christians being persecuted. We see abortions being accepted as a norm and sexual deviation. When the Church age ends and God calls us home, we will be filled.

We should be showing mercy to those who persecuted us, showing mercy that they may be saved, we will receive mercy for those actions when that time arrives.

Each blessing , each proverb will be fulfilled I would call these the 8 promises. Times will get harder I think before Christ returns. Persecutions that were once seen every but America are coming here, we have seen them already start and I would not be surprised if we see much worse before we are called home, we are promised that  we will not endure the tribulation, but I believe that what many Christians have seen in the world will find its way to us as the Church age ends.

We will pick up at verse 13 next time

When Storms Come

When things are rough as they can get,

You feel there is no way;

You feel that God’s forsaken you,

You find it hard to pray.

But God is there beside you as

you feel so tired and worn,

but He has promised you that he’ll

protect you in the storm

When times of difficulty comes

your faith will get you thru;

Remember God is your refuge,

He’ll never forsake you.

Storms of Life

When Storms Come

Storms come into our lives in many forms, sickness, sorrow, pain, money or lack there of, many things can bring turmoil to our life, it is how we get through the storm that can help define us and bring us wisdom.

Faith, the same faith that brings us to Salvation in Christ can bring us through the storm.

Mark 11:23 ESV

Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him.

What ever mountain life has put in your path remember that if we go to God in prayer with the same faith that is the foundation of our Salvation He will move that mountain we just have to ask.

I am also reminded though we are saved through faith in Christ we are sanctified through our works, sometimes when the storm comes how we weather it will be a testimony to those people who to not believe in Christ. Works is not trust doing good things or being charitable but how we live our every day life and the storms it can bring, those works though you may never see the results may help bring someone to Christ.

Lord help us as we go through our day, help us to remember that the storms that life sometimes brings can calmed by our faith and pray found in your word.

I pray Heavenly Father that if there is someone reading this, stuck in a storm who does not know you as their Saviour that they will know that You sent Your Son, to die on the cross for our sins and just as he rose on the third day and defeated death, so shall we if we trust and accept him.

Amen
