You Cannot Claim to be Christian AND Support Abortion.

This title is similar to one I read somewhere on the Web, it was good, but there is more to it. Christians must be consistence in every part of our life’s.

Christians & Abortion

Child Praying

Abortion is murder, the Bible is clear on the subject, as I heard and wrote recently the difference between the born and the unborn is SLED.

Size – We cannot justify murder do to size, to we kill short people tall people when do they change the rules for children those who have been born.

Level of Development – This too does not justify murder, do we start to pick on those with birth defects after their born, would we kill them?

Environment – If this was justification should we murder those because of were they live, the poor or tribes in the middle nowhere, your environment does not give anyone the right to kill you

Dependency –   If we used this as justification for murder, the poor, old weak and sick could qualify.

Abortion is Murder, and if you vote for and support a a politician you support abortion and murder.

Christians and Sexuality

As Christians we cannot “be tolerant” of homosexuality, transgender or any other self proclaimed sexuality. We are not supposed to hate those who sin, if we are honest we are sinners and far from perfect, it is only the Grace of God that we are saved through faith that we can we forgiven, but we are not without sin.

Leviticus 18:22 You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

These and other verses are taken from the https://www.openbible.info

Again we cannot support candidates , parties or politicians that support these things and live a close honest relationship with God

  Christ Like, not Worldly morals

We can be fooled if we try to be moral especially when those morals are based on mans terms, we are told to be Christ like

2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the God of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

We cannot live one way at work, one way at home and another at Church, as Christians everywhere and everything should be based on Gods Word.

Closing

Being a Christian is not easy, the world hates us, no matter how many times we say we don’t hate the sinner and just the sin the world will not hear that, they will call us bigots, intolerant, remember they hated Christ before they hated us.

John 15:18 “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.

We are not perfect, we make mistakes, the difference is we admit them and ask for forgiveness, if we remember that and communicate that, they will still hates us, but our goal should be to be truthful, consistent in every aspect of our lifes.

The Way

Power in the Empty Cross

There is only one way to be saved, born again or to experience salvation it is through the Grace of Christ.  Accepting that He died for all of our sins, and was resurrected on the third day. You do not need to be baptized, otherwise the thief on the cross that Christ saved did not go to heaven as Christ promised, and in affect you are saying Christ lied.

Luke 23:40-43

40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42  And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43  And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

Ephesians 2:8

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

I could go on, and I will not do not and will never accept the books added by other religions, nor will I entertain the opinion of those who feel Baptism is a must for salvation let alone a precursor. I will and invite intelligent questions and input, I use and quote the KJV and would ask you use the same if you have questions or input.

One Word

aaad
The Word og God

The Bible has roughly 40 authors or 2000 years or so, some had the benefit of the past written, others did not yet when read and referenced as written there are no contradictions, lies or even hate as some claim. It is the One Word.

False prophets are not new, Islam was started by a false prophet, their “holy book” makes up for it’s contradictions by dating and suggesting that the newer out weigh the older, sometimes.

Other major religions add books claiming to be found and left by Christ himself, yet these books often contradict the one true word of God.

A Quick Note

Again, on this subject I will not argue, questions are welcome, and other then my direct  reference to Islam I will not argue for or against your religion not that kind of post. I will say this once and once only Islam is a political movement that directly contradicts our nations laws, and wants to set up their own, sorry no religious  freedom for you. But that is another post.

Believers Are Salt and Light

13 “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.

14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Christ Fulfills the Law

17 “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. 18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled. 19 Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.

Believers Are Salt and Light

Particular in these end times believers need to be actively spreading the word of God. Doing so can be active, pastoring, ministering or by example (and all 3). Many of the televised and mega churches are part of the apostate church. They do not preach God’s Word unless they can make it all positive, or marketable. In so many ways, the salt has lost it’s flavor.

We also have many undercover Christians, a question you should ask yourself is , if accused of being a Christian would there be enough evidence to convict you?

Christ Fulfills the Law

Christ death and resurrection fulfilled prophecy and brought us into the age of Grace, it is by Grace we are saved, but as we see in the verse above, the law did not simply disappear. In many ways as we continue on we will see that the Law was further defined by Christ and I would argue made it harder. Think about sin is a sin, but it is through Christ’s Grace we can be forgiven.  Though we are saved by his grace, it must be followed by works. If you become saved and then hide what good is it.

Works are very important for us as Christians, yes we are saved by Grace alone but works which involve witnessing, living in faith and trying to be more Christ like. We will also fall short of the glory of God, works with salvation will not get you into heaven.

As we approach the end of the Church age make sure that your light shines, that your salvation shows and that you follow Christ. Man kind will always let you down, and trying to live of the world and in the Word will not work.

What WOULD Jesus Do? What We must Do

What Would Jesus Do?

what-would-jesus-do

What would Jesus do? It is a great question when asked in the moment. When at a given time we can ask, how would Christ act what would He do? But life today more often then not has us reflecting saying what would have Christ done?

Not surprising the Bible tells us, not just what to do but what to say.

Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

Recommending Reading – Here

Mark 13 is perfect read for the times in which we live, but looking just at the question “what would Jesus do” is unfair for us, we are with sin, though we strive to be Christ like as sinners we will fail.

Don’t Fall into the Sin of Worry

If right now this election has you worried as a Christian you have already failed at what Christ would do, in the verse above Jesus tells the apostles that it is not them that will speak, but the Holy Ghost. The same can be said about what we do, do not look too far ahead trying to guess the future and then  asking what would Jesus do is wrong. We pray, study the word of God and trust that when the time comes not you or I but the Holy Sprit that will do and say. Through us.

Don’t Worry Ahead, Plan Ahead

The Bible gives us plenty to plan ahead spiritually from the Olivet discourse and in Ephesians 6 :14-20

14-Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15-And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17-And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18-Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

19-And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20-For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Being prepared is commandment, it is what Christ would have us do, if we are prepared then there is no need to worry.

The same is true for living, we should be prepared for emergencies, all of them. From natural disasters to potential war having food, water a plan items for self defense it is important. Think about this, right now somewhere in the world Christians are dying for Christ, some are fighting for their freedom to worship Christ, just as we should plan ahead as Christians but as American patriots.

Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
