Start your day in Gods Word

The Christian response  to the turmoil in the world is wisdom and staying in Gods word.

Proverbs 2:1-9

10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;

17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

18 For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

Wisdom, knowledge, discretion and understanding it some regards we may see this as common sense if we are walking with the Lord. But as the passage continues it gives warnings of the evil men that “speaketh froward” Froward is an adj, it is defined as stubbornly contrary and disobedient; obstinate. Three times we are warned of evil people who are described as such. Watching the news, it describes the rioters and many of the anti-Freedom movements we see today, without the word of God we cannot gain wisdom, discretion and understanding and we would be left defenseless spiritually and as the end times approach we need Him more than ever.

The strange women and the stranger that falter her with words, in my view this is how the world tries to entice us away from our Master the Lord Jesus Christ. They make evil things seem okay, or not so bad. They use false words of tolerance and caring to try and appeal to those who are unsaved and weak in the spirit.

Stay in pray my brothers and sisters, seeking Wisdom, knowledge desecration and understanding never ends.

1 Corinthians 1:25 says Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men

Knowing this we realize that are quest for wisdom will not end until we are called home.

Our Christian response should be love and understanding, but we should never compromise Gods unchanging Word. We can and should hate sin, but as sinners ourselves we should remember to pray for those who have yet to find Christ.

Heaven Father, keep us safe and in your word as we see this land slip into chaos. Help us not to be discourage but instead to be eager for Christ’s return spreading the Word of God with more urgency now than ever before.  Be with us Lord as we face the evil of the world every day.
